This is Patroklos the peacock, Persephone the peahen and the peachicks are Pedro and Peggy. Kate also makes peacocks in white: Pan and Paris.
The peacocks are Kate's largest design. Their long, fancy tails also make them her most time consuming piece. They have theatrical names, called after handsome historical posers to suit their proud plumage.
This is Edgar. At 45cm long he's small for a raven but large enough for a mantlepiece! He is printed in black, blue and silvery tones to give his plumage depth and shine.

Humphrey the hummingbird comes in lots of different colours and styles, as unique as in the wild.
Kate loves designing birds because they are diverse, colourful and characterful little creatures, who lend themselves to simple shapes. Birds allow he to experiment with textures and patterns and she enjoys adding different elements to modify designs.

Kate makes birds in virtually every colour and pattern, in various poses. Some have birdcages and a swing to call home.
